The Challenge
One of the key challenges was to organise and present information effectively at a high level whilst retaining detail so all levels of staff could use the system for their specific needs. A further challenge was that the business divisions were organised by project, which required a common approach for running projects and processes.
The Solution
Comidor deployed a cloud-based Business Process Management and Project Management platform, delivering a centralised and consolidated working environment for both internal and external communications as well as operational management.

Other Comidor tools were deployed to enhance internal communication such as instant messaging and internal and external email using the built in email client. The same tools were used to improve third party relationships by ensuring efficient communications with clients via PC's, tablets and mobile phones.
Comidor’s Document Management System (DMS) replaced the customers legacy intranet and intranet folders. This DMS provides file sharing, locking, versioning and view-edit rights, as well as online editing, linking with tasks, processes and projects, all available for instant sharing.
Business Process Management capability automated core company activities including sales, payments and other operational tasks. Processes are mapped to workflow to automate the business further and teams design workflows and business rules that align with their specific needs.
Client teams use Comidor's advanced task management system in which each task is connected to the relevant business process. Diverse teams share calendars which include dynamic information on tasks showing status and other important information. Managers are able to monitor the scope, schedule, cost and quality for each business activity in real time, including live performance tracking via KPIs that can be pre-defined by the user.
Team members book their time against projects and automated notifications are sent to managers requiring approvals. Comprehensive reporting enables easy review and effective people management.
